jacques, you are right and your cat is not much different than any other. Cats are kings or queens of the place even if they are dependent on us, so don't expect you being more important than he is in his understanding of the role. I have two cats right now those are a couple generations apart and I tell you I think I'm controling the place - where two fight.
Finally after all the cat stories I should tell you someting abot the picture - the eyes are strong elements in this expresion but I feel like those are a bit too high in the composition. Collors are well ballanced and the details are strong. Very composing image indeed.

Fantastic close up! Lovely sharpness. Both the eyes and "nose hairs" are really good. The blackpart of the eyes are maybe a little bit to bright though.
