About	These boats (sorry, not sure if it's a house boat, a long boat, etc? maybe a UK native can tell me?) seem to be all over the UK. As far as I can tell, people live in them as a cheap way to enjoy country life without the responsibilities of purchasing a farm or country home. Why this family chose to moor here I'm not too sure - it's certainly not a garden I would have chosen! :) I decided to show the backdrop using the reflection in the river (Medway) as it was showing up so nicely on this cloudy winter morning.

A good documentary shot. I like the reflection giving the housing comment a bit more depth. These are canal barges and yes a lot of people inthe UK live on them. I believe, never having been on one, that they are extremely comfortable and a lot of good fun.
