I really agree with Martin. Nice tones and perspective, a soft atmosphere is in the sky. Nice townscape captured...

Anson, this is almost a scene of a dream!
Also very suggestive because of the distinct lighting.
Very sharply observed!
Best wishes.

Klaus: Thanks for stopping by, and yes, sometimes I notice a "hot spot", but I have been told by at least two that use the Dimage 7 it also has a hot spot. Maybe there is a filter choice that is best with that camera. Regards to a fine photographer, Klaus. Anson

Nice shot. Looks like you have the 'hot-spot' problem as well. I am using a Dimage 7 camera to take my infra-red pics. I loke your subject, nice composition. Klaus

Ant,
I thought I died and went to heaven. My kind of town. The pickup on the left, the hidden house on the left and the cross on top of the steeple makes this way cool.
Not to mention the angles are out of site. Ask anyone, wrong angles drive me nuts, but the church is almost perfectly plumb and horizonally correct. While the light post and sign on the left lean to to right? Did you use a fisheye lens?
Well done and my hat is off to you...
Very angelic indeed my friend,
Marty

Just stunning Anson. You capture such atmosphere and timelessness. The lighting on the church, particularly the cross, makes it so powerful. It is like a powerfully haunting dream. Beautiful.
