A very spooky & cold office atmosphere and great composition! Those lines in the wall really drive the viewer towards the centerpoint, nice work!
Best regards,
Niclas

This is part of your blue period is it!? ;~}
Love the structure and composition, nice clean and neat building and a cool blue tone - it has a 1960s feel for some reason, not sure why exactly!

Hi Verena,

long time no talk :-)

I do find this a very nice picture 8and by the way quite typical for you!). The graphical composition is perfect. The colour is great. The only thing that I am not so sure about is that grain. Maybe a bit less?

Cheers,

Andreas

Ganz LG, Thilo

Hi Verena, I really like the cool blue monochrome tone you've applied here. And although my initial thought was to crop a bit off the left side, (exactly like Giuliano suggests) I think it would remove a part of the tension in this shot too, as the countering wall on the left does keep the viewers attention within the composition. It condenses the view, giving it a more claustrophobic feel, Creating the "tension" in this photo, if you know what I mean.

Tension-wise, I would love to see the comparison between this photo and one taken from the same spot but only ad frogs' perspective. It might introduce another dimension in the perspective.

Apart from that, This photo, again, bears your signature. One I would never attempt, but which I still find inspirational...

Cheers,

Hugo

Nice shot and i have to agree with Giuliano...but it´s double, cause both ways works depending on what purpuse you have. To show how we can walk there your crop is the best, to make a clean geometry - GG´s suggestion is the best. I like the blue tone too.

hello Verena,
it's nice geomethrical image. well balanced between left and right part of the frame... 1/3 + 2/3 .... accademic!
I see you used a BW film so I suppose you toned later. Anyway I think that also the original black and white has the same good sensation of "clean" image.
Maybe a more close crop would be more and more clean (cutting the diagonal at the corner and cleaning the roof details...see attached) but... this is your image, your personal interpretation so it's good as is!
Frankly I see too many images "too much perfectly" cropped. I prefer your interpretation!
:)

Bye

Giuliano
