Dear Bubamara, it's a very good one, but it could've been better if you sometimes use Filtered B&W effect instead of just converting to grayscale. I think if you may use it, it will leave a very light gradiant from darker to brighter up to down and make it a real good one. yoy can see what I'm talking about in my portfolio, named : Subdued Sunset, as it has a long sky like yours. Well done, Mohammad
A moving image. Good tones and play of light. Tje clouds seem to conflict with the light. my eyes are drawn away from what I think is the main thrust of the image. maybe a little post processing. Regards, Mark
un controluce di grande effetto che esalta i contrasti e conferisce all'immagine quell'atmosfera mistica che si addice al luogo rappresentato....brava!!!!!! ciao
Hi Bubamara, technically, a very well exposed shot. The strong contrast also adds something to the feel.
Even though I do like this photo, there's something that kinda disturbs me. I'll try to explain, as I think its more a combination of factors and a few paradoxes than anything in specific.
The Point of view is a rather classic one, yet this is compensated by the (indeed, magic!) light.
I can see the reason for composing the top of the Obilisk rather closely to the top edge of the frame, yet it does unbalance the overview a bit, IMO.
Also, the majority of the "action" is located on the right of the image. This, on one hand, prevents a static composition, but it also leaves the left part rather empty.
Each one of these things is only very minor, yet for me, it does affect the image. I do like the idea, and I'm very much impressed about how you handled the exposure, creating a hard contrast without major blown out parts nor underexposed areas. Hope you see wahgt I mean.
