Nice capture Pan . . . I like the composition quite a bit. The lower foreground area has the need light on the composition, light which is nicely balanced with the dark overtones of the sky. Your focal point, while normally not good to have in the center works quite well in this case since the dark trunk contrasts perfectly with the light foreground while the upper branches have flowers of a light color and unique texture which complement the dark sky. The dark shadows on the foreground are brilliantly countered by the light clouds in the darker sky. The entire piece is very well balanced. On a critical note (although this piece is brilliantly executed), I think the left border is cropped to close to the tree and needs to be extended outwards a bit. Also, in my opinion, a thin white line would make a stunning border to contrast with the darker tones of the composition. You have a wonderful piece here. Congratulations. An obvious 7.

i'm trying to find out the relation between the chosen title and the image. one poit comes to my mind. it seems to me that this tree in an empty field is the symbol of loneliness! the dark sky reminds me of the fear! i like the tone and contrast!
