I would you would not tell me what I mean. If you want to get into technicalities, as you did with phototropism (which had nothing to do with what I was saying nor is it a word that I was not already familiar with), then of course the plants are not parallel to each other, as none of them are straight lines. I just liked how the blades of grass reached heavenwards as did the trees behind them. It is visually pleasant that they all do that. I understand that all plants reach towards the light, but it is highlighted in this photo because of spacing and arrangement.

I should correct your statement that those small plants do NOT mimic the taller trees.
All of the green plant have "Phototropism" toward light. Therefore where ever light is there the grow toward that source of light.
