About This was posted before the crash. Since then, my photo lab in Omaha called today, and they're going to canvas print it, for their lobby area.

I thought I'd post it again here on UseFilm. I also have a 11x14 canvas of it in the studio.

Hope you enjoy it.

This is a wonderful shot. I really like the tones in her face and expression. I am sure the canvas version is lovely.

Thanks for the comments.

Dan: Of course most photog's want high marks in anything they may post, however; when I post, I'm posting to share the image with the group. I grade myself by my customers acceptance and satisfaction. No matter how much I like a shot, I still see something I'd like to change about it. Probably the same with most photog's. ;)

Cemal: I'm not sure about the picture your referring to if she was in it, but I'll look at them.

Sujit: I've had several people ask me about the lighting, especially on some of my recent portrait work. A couple of things. I've started using less lights in my setup. This was lite with One large multidome SB and reflector. You can actually see the lighting setup for this shot here.
I posted this setup, due to the many folks who inquired about it.

Best Wishes,

Phillip,
Beautiful. Also I would request all the members of Usefilm to throw some ray on lighting technic used. This would be more constructive way to express our love & passion for photography.
Added this one as my favorite.

I remember this charmer but in a different pose. I guess you lost several of her lovely portraits. The one I recall had a frame-like element at the top and on the side. I hope you post that one again.

Without taking any credit away from you, I must say how adoreable this young lady is, she is a real find for you and you have done justice to her beauty and charm. Highly enjoyable.

Did you get some people mad at you? I looked at your past work and there are so many beautiful protraits that are rated very poor.

Philip, I used to use a photo lab in Omaha, Supra Color. They have used some of my prints in the past. The name has changed now. They do very good work.
This is beautiful. Very well done. I expect that it has more detail in the shadows that this shows.
