Are we not all carnivors? some of us, not I, though, even pretty ones, like your flower, Markus.
Beautiful color amongs the snowy photos & a fitting frame too.
I would gladly sacrifice my cap for a good photo but in this case it was a sort of dog-toy deployed by the dogs' owner & later brought back to him. See attachment.

Carnaval dans la vallée de la carne; vous êtes plein d'imagination mon cher. Beau specimen de plante couleur viande hachée qui me rappelle une chanson de Renaud qui aurait voulu une glace à la viande si ça n'avait coulé le long du cornet :)
Je ne connais aucun conte de fées qui parle de branches glacées; à moins que vous ne parliez du haricot géant.

Gorgeous deep, verrrrrrrrrrrrrry deep red!!! Can't tell what kind of flower it is from this end/side, but do like it and the fact you took it from this side/the back... good composition, clarity/light, DOF and detail... well captured!!
