En mi visita a Pto Montt, junto a Fabiola Barrientos, pasamos por un lugar donde, gente muy humilde, vive del pelillo (alga utilizada por los japoneses para realizar los más diversos productos, desde alimentos hasta productos farmacéuticos), este pelillo es recogido de forma manual y se seca al sol, el kilo vale al rededor de 30 centavos de dólar, lo cual no es mucho si pensamos en el volumen que debe reunirse para completar este kilo. En esta labor trabaja casi toda la familia, desde los más grandes hasta los más pequeños como este niño. Aún recuerdo mi infancia, llena de juegos y cariño, nunca me falto nada y mi mirada nunca fue triste.
In my visit to Pto Montt, next to Fabiola Barrientos, we passed by a place where, very humble people, live on pelillo (alga used by the Japanese to make diverse products, from foods to pharmaceutical products), this pelillo is gathered of manual form and the kilo is dried to the sun, is worth near 30 cents of dollar, which is not much if we thought about the volume that must meet to complete this kilo. In this work all the family works almost, from greatest to smallest like this boy. Still memory my childhood, flood of games and affection, never I needed nothing and my glance never was sad.
