A wonderful moody atmosphere and amazing depth to your composition stretching out into the misty distance. I love the almost silhouetted look to the horses and the only thing I would have altered would have been to crop more from the bottom. Other than that I like it how you posted it. That's one of the great things about digital post processing Pat, is that you can always undo an effect if you don't like it! It's sometimes amazing what you come up with, improvements or othewise, just from experimenting and playing around a bit.

Thanks Dave! I agree! I will start using that method of correction as I notice alot of my pictures are soft....not sure why...better dig out my book (when all else fails right?) :) Pat

Another nicely composed shot of the horses overlooking the clouds and beautiful countryside, Pat! You may consider increasing the contrast and saturation, along the lines of Kathy's suggestions to get the most out of the shot.

Hi Pat,
I love this shot! The horses standing on that rise and being able to see the whole valley is so cool! What a great view!
To me it's just a little bit washed out. I took it into PS and did a bit of work with shadows and highlights, levels, and then selectively erased the lower part and this is what I came up with. Of course, this might not be the look you were going for...just another option!

Very nice photo of those beautiful animals on the background of soft tones on probably partly cloudy day (besides the fog in the valley).Colours of winter,but very interesting.
