As with your entire portfolio... it's a soft approach. I like this one best!

Mary: This is one of my favorites, and taught me a lesson in cropping, which I find a tedious job sometimes. So glad you find it enjoyable. Anson

Narabia: Thank you for seeing this image the way I do. As it first appeared it was too cluttered by detracting parts. It taught me a lesson in cropping, since I have almost never produced a square image. I am breathless over your "hopeless...breathless" photo; it has a haunting beauty about it, and speaks well of the model. Anson

I really like this- to have the colours merge so gently but the edges sharp- very striking.

Neat job on the selective focus Anson! The most interesting flower is in it's parts. A beautiful natural abstract. Regards--Bill Voizin

Sarah: After looking at your portfolio and some of the abstracts which are outstanding I thank you for such a compliment. The more interesting parts of flowers to me are the colors and the curving surfaces, such as this rose. I am glad you enjoyed it. Anson

Typically, I am not a great fan of flower shots, but this is quite exceptional!! I love the DOF and the colors. The composition is also quite compelling. Great job!!!
