Nice capture. Perhaps a little too tight in frame, imho. Excellent work, anyway.

The choice of project says it all here, Chuck! Very dramatic indeed, with the burning vehicles in the background and smoke drifting through!

Ina,

Thank-you for your concern and kind words -- I driving the rear vehicle...there was another vehicle in front of me...the insurgents usually hit the rear or led vehicle, for some reason they changed their tatics that day and hit the middle vehicle. Only one person was hurt --- from the glass of his window of all things -- we were very lucky that day.

Best Wishes,
Chuck

Greg,

Thank-you for your kind words...Also I like the quote that you have on your site... "WE DO NOT REMEMBER DAYS, WE REMEMBER MOMENTS." That is so true. Thanks again.

Best Wishes,
Chuck

I've really been enjoying your portfolio...You are a good journalistic photographer in that your photos can tell the story without words...This is certainly a different venue of photography and I hope UF members appreciate the value of Up-Close Photo-Journalism in a War-Zone being shared by you...I sure apprecaiate it...Most interesting...Congrats...

Tom,

Thank-you for the feed back. Yeah, I wish there was no war as well, but at times one does have to fight.

Best wishes,
Chuck

Nice picture. But even more credit for just being there! Must be tough.
Wouldnt have these security issues if the US et al. weren't there in the first place though....Regards, Tom.
