Very nice composition. I like the horizon at top 1/4 of the frame. It feels like I am walking there towards the strip of greens at the upper part of the picture.

Dear John,
A very descent image in all aspects but immediately I want to ask:
Does the dead driftwod add to it's splendor? Perhaps not but gives an offset to the five alive versus one dying so disregard perhaps ...
Should this maybe have been a square format with a thinner black border? Just another thought although sacrificing the ripples in the foreground sand ...
