Very intresting, never heard of it before but I can see how it got it's name. Looks like a jet had flown by from the streak in the clouds. Best Regards, Bill C.

Very nice and unusual tree. Good colors, great sky! Looks like one part of the tree already gave up... would've liked a more up close shot of the bark.... an idea for another shot... LOL??!!

Aptly named tree my friend with fantastic details and textures throughout the trunk area. The composition is further enhanced with a lovely colour to the sky and the wonderful textures to the earth and rocks around the tree. Excellent stuff Don, well done to you...Best wishes...Ray

A real character shot in this tree Don. I love all those lines and curves and smooth and rough textures. Lovely warm colours against the rich blue sky. I wonder if some of this could make a nice aligator look alike handbag. :) Always thinking of the animals. You know - Use a tree and save a croc. (haha). A nice refreshing image Don with vivid eye catching colours and composition.
Cheers - Ann :)

Looks like a survivor. Maybe it was struck by lighting at one time?
