aha - here was another one. But i still like the red rocks one better, cause i remember the rocks more red and the sky is too conrtasty here against the rest. But still good composition

Yes, more contrast, more pop. I was originally afraid of blowing out to white some of the details, but now I think that I should ignore those feelings.

very nice indeed. The color is amazing and the composition is enchanting... I love the dimension and graphic feel. however, I don't get that with your B&W it's a touch flat... and just kind of lays there and doesn't do the frame justice. I reworked but not sure if I still quite like it .... just takes a little finessing. at this point the color version is my favorite.

I have been here, canoed through the canyon, tipped over into the Rio Grande (pretty muddy). I did not take my camera along for fear of dropping it into the river.
Very nice composition - the reflection makes it cool. My memory of the trip was the water was very murky and reflections were not too good.
