Gaetan, this is a very unusual and uniquely attractive image. I applaud the effort it took and agree it was worth it! It goes straight into my favourites... I am at the same stage of the hobby as you, preferring to stick with film for the time being but gladly taking advantage of the digital darkroom. If you cropped this to panorama format (an aspect ratio of at least 2:1) there would be no pixel limitations on the image, which would allow the detail to be appreciated. Perhaps next time? Incidentally I have just returned to 6 x 6 SLR photography after a long period shooting only 35mm. It feels as if I am swimming against the stream, so it's nice to see someone else using this kind of equipment (although mine is much lower budget than yours).
