I really like the textures in the front. They are eye catching and a strong element, but do not distract from the rest of the picture as it leads one's eye to the treeed rock and castle in the background. I like your composition in this. It has an old picture effect.

intanto è un vero piacere ricevere un commento da un fotografo come te...
e ancor più piacevole è poter constatare che contiene consigli sull'elaborazione della foto..
Nonostante la scarsa traduzione di google penso di aver capito cosa vuoi dire... effettivamente è tutto un pò forzato dal punto di vista grafico, ma ho voluto provare a darli un look retrò, come se si trattasse di una vecchia foto. Pensa che avevo anche provato ad aggiunger un effetto grana pellicola, ma poi il tutto si appesantiva ulteriormente...

Hi Giulio, love the textures in the rock. Very well composed image too. As usual, I struggle a bit with the toning, though. I'd prefer a "normal" B&W image (if there's such a thing as a normal black and white) The tones in this one, together with the slight vignetting create a rather forced atmosphere. Not that that's a bad thing, but I find it difficult to assess that atmosphere in such a landscape, if you see what I mean.
