Dear Gil. Thank you your comment. To answer to your question is that I do not have enough money to travel, but whenever I go between home to work I always carry my camera. Perhaps the only place I don't take it would be my bed and bathroom!

My Mom just called them "Hen and Chicks". I ran a Google search and found this site:

The genus of the plant is Echeveria.

I was looking at one of these at the Stanford Cactus Garden a few days ago. Your succulent is so clean! Perhaps it is an indoor plant. Nice photograph which led me to view your portfolio which I like very much especially your abstracts. You must do a lot of traveling. Glad you take your camera. Gil
