imo, it's not too dark, it is as it was at that moment. It creates an atmospehere that perfectly corresponds to that we all know from old churches.

this is an interesting picture, and the darkness fits the mood. however, i'm not sure how the subject matter reflects temptation (it could be I'm not literate enough). It seems to me like walking into a church would be good. Also, I feel that her head is a bit over lost in the shadows. I like the subtle lighting on the statue in the background, and wish that the same thing was on the person.

I know I said this was dark before, but taking a second look, it is still a very interesting photo. You're right, temptation is dark, so it really fits the title of the photo on here. Nice contrast of the darkness with some of the light in the background on the statue. The photo definitely provokes interesting thoughts.
