I think that the framing for this shot is original and set off the starl composition very well.

Hi Chuck, Even though I find the composition very creative and original, it does make the image itself a bit difficult to assess. I think it does create a very strong "vortex" / zooming in feel towards the vanishing point of this shot, and as a frame it works well. I'd be rather looking at the photo, though. It looks nice enough, and the composition, allowing alot of space for the rail track is good, Also, letting the rails intersect with the two lower corners and also using that element of intersection in the top left makes the image pretty strong. I wonder what would happen if you had construct the frame in such a way that the corners black border would also intersect with the imaginary line of the rails and the roof. Hope you see what I mean.
