Hi Eb. Good work and congratulations on the BiP. When I saw the thumbnail I thought I was looking at an image inside of a cave. Interesting colours here.
btw, I was a trainee in Chilliwack at the engineer school back in the 1980s. I have some fond memories of Chilliwack and look forward to seeing more of your work on UF.

The textures and vertical cylindrical shapes make me think of sets of overlapping trigonometric curves. The shades of green are really pleasing. Well done!

Thanks for commenting, Fabio. The algae deposit on the ancient tree stump is like I saw it - not at all overly saturated! However, I can appreciate that some photographers like their colours desaturated. Regards!

Yes Kevin, the saturation is boosted for the RAW file in Nikon Capture. It is about what it should like - as I remembered it during capture. Saturation is always flat as it comes from the D70s in RAW format in color mode 2 (AdobeRGB.). Thanks for noticing.

Great job on capturing the lines in the bark. I'm just curious if the green has been enhanced by PS since it seem a little bright to look natural. Great shot. Keep up the good wokr.
