It first reminded me of peering through a window to look out at the weather conditions. The frozen snow has great detail in it and the light and shadow play with the textures for added interest. Then I saw it as a long tufted rug much the same as Jeanette. Well seen and taken Mireille. All the best..Ray.
Thanks Hugo for all your constructive comments...really appreciate. You are always of a GREAT help, wether your comments are positive or not. In order to improve (and that's what I really want!), I need both! Keep on with your "critical" eye. Thanks a lot! Regards, Mireille
Hi Mireille, as you have noticed, I rather comment on one shot thoroughly than briefly on all. I picked this one out, because I think the framing really adds to the photo, which you don't see often. Also, the format is an excellent choice, it consises the view to what I believe to be a very interesting scene, with a very good angle of light, adding contrast to the texture. Good shot.
Great details in the snow Mireille. Love the sepia looking tones and the exposure on the snow is lovely. Very nice subtle shadows in there too. Nice image. I'm undecided about the heavy frame though. Having fun with that new lens. :) A beautiful image.
