That feeling, I really understand.
I have taken so few pictures of people. Only 2 so far. I have some friends here that take such wonderful people shots, that I am trying to get over that. It was really hard to do and I was very nervous but on "Welcome Home" I went up to complete strangers and asked If I could take their picture.
They said yes. WOW! They wanted to know why and such, but that was a fun story to tell. Always feel like I am invading peoples privacy.
So I actually think your a bit further to your goal than you realize though.
I think some other's might be able to help a bit more than me in this case though. Though it's really nice to know someone feels that way too.
Mark
Now if someone had a picture of you jumping off the train taking the picture :-)

Mark. Thanks for the attention. You are so right. When I do shots like this, on one hand I get a result that I like, but on the other I feel like I interfere the environment. At this scene I lifted the camera at the second that I was jumping out of the train. Usually I play it indifferent and pretend that I didn't focus on that particular person but on the entire scene, somewhere on the background. The other day, in the Greek tram I saw the most beautiful girl I remember by far. I wanted so much to lift the camera. The light was so correct on her. But I was embarassed. Any opinions on this?
Sincerely, Theo

Hi Theodore, Great tube shot; as usual, everybody's paying attention only to themselves, except for the woman staring (rather blanky) at the camera. It creates a very strong eyecatcher. The black and white works superbly here, Awesome atmosphere shot!
Cheeers,
Hugo
