Like everyone else Susie, I love this!!
I didn't notice the red at all until I read the comment, but it's still easy to forget when you just look at her face! It was such a good moment that you captured - hardly ever does a photograph hold that much feeling that is easily interpreted. Great crop and tones too. Well done!

Wonderful shot Susie. A lovely little girl with a great expression caught by you. Beautiful mono/light sepia tones (I must practice these!) and a great dof and crop.

This little girl is going to be a star some day. All these wonderful expressions you are capturing are such precious moments and this one is no exception. Love the expression and action. I've jsut started diong a "real life" portfolio and this woudl be perfect for it. Capturing those true emptions is really difficult and capturing unique emotions even more so. Great job!

Hi Martin,
Thanks for your always honest critiques. I appreciate them, it keeps me on my toes. I didn't even look at her arm when inspecting this. I do see a few areas on her arm that I could have cleaned up in PS first and should have. I don't see red though, mostly browns which is what I was going for. I do need to calibrate my monitor though to make sure I have true color. It's one of the things on my "do right away" list.

You can browse thro. endless images here, but you always have these favorite photographers. & eventually you'll end up commenting on their images only. A few pics here & there.. but you'll always return on the same pages a lot. Your's is one of them! :)
