Thanks for commenting Corriel!This is a combination of 2 photos.The first is of thistle heads that I scanned in and toned and the second is from a collection of frames that came in June's Digital Photo CD.which I also changed in photoshop.Creating still life photos on a flatbed scanner is quite fun but almost as time consuming as setting up all the elements,lights and camera positions on a table!As you can see,both in this photo and in last night's upload-Falling 1- you can achieve quite a lot of depth of field using the scanner and then selection and gentle diffusion in photoshop.
