This is the original path for climbing up to Massada. Massada is a flat rock, about the form of a table-mountain, about 900 feet above Dead Sea level, itself 1200 feet below sea level. Today it is called "Snake path", stairs & rail have been added for safety. When I climbed it in the early fifties, it was still a trail. A cable car has recently been added.
Wow, what a shot. It shows how insignificant people are compared to nature. To tell the truth, I don't think I could make it to the top. Good work. Klaus
