About Modeled after the Grand Ballroom aboard the Titanic this is the formal dining room aboard the Majesty of the Seas. Why the "artificial light contest"? This was a very challenging lighting situation. Please notice the natural light entering from the lower sides of the shot; the incandescent light was the predominant lighting but the interplay between the two wrecked havoc with the cameras white balance, but I like the result, I hope you do too.

Hi Sal,

A very good adition to the artificial light contest. Especially difficult to capture with a digiatl camera. The white balance issues show a bit with the blue cast of natural light, but I do believe its very well exposed. I might tweak down the saturation in the red level, perhaps; the warm glow seems a tad unnatural, although that might also be my monitor, which is getting rather old. Good use of the symmetry of the interior too; it's spot on, I believe.

Merry Christmas,

Cheers,

Hugo
