About Crabs
Crabs, crabs,

I like crabs.

big crabs, small crabs,

timid crabs, active crabs.

A crab at the pet store.

A crab at the beach.

I like crabs.

by Megan (Childrens poetry)

I selected the crab (lasso tool) and inverted the background to lessen the color so that the crab would stand out more.

CorrieLynn, my daughter showed me how to just change the color in the background, I used the lasso tool around the crab then went to select/ invert in PS, which allowed the background to be adjusted and not the crab, then adjusted the colors, pretty simple. The sun was so bright on the original photo that the crab and rock were almost the same color. Alison

Such a nice little poem to go with this image! Very cute! Good photoshop work! Sounds tedious...did it take long?

Great job, Alison, along with a very good capture in the first place, to make it all possible! Very good colour and detail in the crab, and I like the way you've included the environement, making he shot much more interesting.
Dave.

Beautiful to the human eye, dear Alison, no less that to that of your crab.
I'm rather late in responding, partly, but not entirely my fault, as you probably know. So I thank you for all your very kind comments on my recent photos. Merry Christmas & a very Happy New Year to you.
Best regards,
Rafi

A 'scrumptious' photo, Alison. Crab is my favourite food from the sea. There's the bird's eye view as well as the fish eye view but a view from a crab is something new!

And I hope I am never too late to wish you and your loved ones A Merry Christmas!
