About Another one of my long time Use Film friends. A great Photographer and wonderful Human Being with a positive attitude towards life. One of the best things about UF is the international community found here. Just like when i travel it's great to meet people from all over the world in one place. Saeed was the first person I meet from the UAE and I hope to visit him and his country sometime in 2006.

This is a portion of the beautiful and very impressive Muhammad Ali Mosque in Cairo. No PS used

Dear Paul, When I do make a print off of a slide (haven't done that with this one) I do have to crop top and/or bottom if it's a vertical. The larger (up to 16 x 20 at most in my experience) the better because with every increase in size you gain an inch in length (8 x 10 is 2 inches dif. vs 16 x 20 is 4 inches dif.). The 16 x 20 comes closes to the shape of the slide so there's very little cropping. 8 x 10 requires a lot more to be taken off which can really alter your shot / in camera crop. 11 x 14 is a better choice for less loss of image. (I cropped a bit of the bottom on this one because I was reading in the forums that some people are scrolling verticals because their screens aren't large enough. not even sure if my crop fixed / helped with that problem very much. At least got a slight improvement) Mark

I have a question here:
How do you print these, since 8x10 or 11x14 will crop what you've so carefully composed in-camera?

I love the rich blacks, and the toning certainly lends tribute to the age of this beautiful structure.
