thanks to everyone who commented on this shot..
I would like to explain that while walking from area we landed (from JFK) to gate we needed for departure to Greece, with very little time to spare, I saw this view and just had to stop, remove my camera from a suitcase and shoot. I managed 2 or 3 shots before my wife insisted we move on.
If you ever find yourself in this DeGaulle Airport I truly suggest an extra hour or so for the 'photo-shoot' is so well deserves...it's just a work of art.

Hi Joe, very effective use of perspective and geometry. Very interesting to see that the size of the structure is only given away by the signs above the door and the person in the far end. Other than that, it might as well have been a much smaller insturment. That rather surprising effect makes it tick for me, as it keeps the viewer on edge. That's what makes a great picture, IMO.
