About Altough I know that details in the left wing of the eagle gould be better, I do refuse to use flash units, of wich I know most of the photographers during wildlife shots like these do, to get nicer details in the feathers of these birds. This shot has been taken by me at Homer Spit in Alaska. Best regards, Harry

I like this the way it is, without flash. This is how you would see this bird in the wild, this is how it was!

Wonderful photograph, the action the elegance.

And the wood has a rather strange shape, kind of like a prehistoric animal head!

GR8 capture!
Lori :)

the sharp bend in the wings is almost (but not quite) as dramatic as the golden light streaming in for your decisive moment, Harry. Another stunner I find myself staring at. Bravo!!

What a wonderful image.

The Only raptors we have near us are not eagles. they certainly don't have the womderful colourings of this beautiful specimen you have so excellently captured.

The lure of obtaining images of these creatures must be immense, but I congratulate you on your restraint and thinking of the welfare of the bird.

Nice work, good moment. His head is a little hot, but I think this was a high contrast scene and you did well. The blue background looks quite good.

Cheers,
Chris
