you?re totally right Sarah, as i was on the beach the sun was really bright and i couldn?t get closer to use fill flash because this little guy would have been mad and maybe would left the place...

I looked at this earlier, and I've come back to comment. I really like the way you've composed this. The bird looking into the scene, and the shadow filling the gap. Only slight nit-pic is that it's a shame about the shadow on his face - but you probably couldn't help this, and you probably were too far away to use fill-flash.
Anyway, a very good photo!
