About New introduced species here in Arizona (peach face love birds) who are from Africa. Not sure what impact they will have on our native birds. I ran across 6 or 7 of them yesterday.

These guys are found in many places in Arizona. Although beautiful I suspect that they will begin to compeat for nesting sites and so on with our native birds!

Hi Daniel~
I am so glad you commented on my image as I had seen this one before and lost track of it as I didn't have a chance to comment (kids sometimes don't allow :)) I was wanting to ask what Susie did, and I see you answered. How wonderful that these birds can survive out of their native surroundings. Do you still see them? Beautiful image and a fascinating scenario.

Beautiful bird Daniel! He looks like he's checking YOU out! I have never seen one like this, maybe when I go back to Tucson to see my little Runie I'll catch a glimpse of these guys! See if you can keep them in Arizona a while longer!! I love the composition and colors, perfectly done!! Have a wonderful weekend my friend! Darlene

Felicidades.

Hi Susie,
I was reading a magazine called Arizona Highways about a year ago and in the article it was mentioned that they are probably pets that have escaped and have since flourished.

Me encanta Daniel...

Saludos,

MaLuisa

They are beautiful birds, and you've captured this one very nicely Daniel. I would be interested too in how it impacts the native birds. I wonder why they decided to bring them to Arizona?
