An interesting contrast of color temps. The foreground appears so bitterly cold while the forest seems inviting and warm. Beautiful image.

Thanks Guys.
Actually, it was a bright sunny day when I took this picture. It wasn't really snowing at all. As the sun began to rise higher in the morning sky, it warmed the air and began to disloge the ice crystals which were clinging to the branches of the surrounding trees. Without any wind to speak of the crystals floated gently to the ground. It really was quite a magical moment.

john nice shot,last winter and this winter I shot about 4 rolls of winter stuff never really found what I was looking for.I think the best stuff I missed because of carrying a gun not a camera. Good job! congrats on your win.
