Another of my favorites of Warren's (the one's that seem to get me the most are the windows and the vehicles, not sure why). I challenge anyone to take this picture, rotate it 180 degrees, and image being Warren taking the shot. Perfect, perfect placement, technically superb AND creatively executed!

Fabulous, energetic and spontaneous composition in thirds. Great play of lateral and vertical angles. Impressionistic and painterly, loads of graphical interest thanks to the granularity and metallic textures, and above all, fantastic colour play with the wonderful pastel-like blue accentuated by black. Great subject: the NYC taxi against a typical old NYC apartment building with its iron fire escape. This is a great, great photograph in my opinion, I'm taken aback. Rgds, Svend

Another great reflections photo (I really liked "Looking East" which you had recently posted as well).... It looks like something Renoir would paint if he were alive and well and living in NYC. Congrats and best regards, Mark.

Very nice capture. What a stroke of luck! But it took a masterful photographer to capture it before it got away. Very well done!
