the subdued color and selected highlights makes the mood for this photo. The stare to avoid contact with the camera and the textured mud wall on the background says a lot about his environment. Great capture and deserving of the award.

Ah Rob, the boy's facial expression speaks volumes. Melancholic and very thoughtful. I hope he has some happiness in his life. I love the tones in the shot and there is great detail as well. All the best
