Beautiful. I like so many different things about this composition. The old man sitting, with his wristwatch, staring into the past, while the young boy emerges from the dark, walking with his intent gaze upon the task at hand. The weathered past behind the old man seems to have him anchored to his chair while the youthful boy is striding past. Very Nice. So Much more to see and feel in this picture.

The magnificent B&W photo -its well crafted darkroomitness-is magnified by the semantic value of the great and gracefull oposition between those two ages of humans: the strategic long gaze of the old man, looking far way; the closing immediate joyfull inquiring of the child´s one.
