Great combination of compositional elements with all lines leading to the solitary tree. Joggie, it is a masterful photograph, but allow me to nit pick. The depth of field appears slightly limited and the softening becomes evident in the midground tree. It may also be possible that the softening is due to diffraction which may be more evident in the fine branch detail. For that reason the print quality does not work quite as well as in your latest posting (past and future.) Eb

Wonderful colours here, Joggie! This is certainly a beautiful area to photograph, and you've really done it justice. I like the way you've layered the colours and textures throughout the shot. Dave.

The vibrancy in this is superb Joggie... :)
The lines of the dunes... and love the way the eye is drawn through the scene by the textures, from the bark and roots in foreground, across the earth and grasses to the tree, and then climb the middle dune skywards... Great composition Joggie...:)
The strong colours and light of Africa are shared by Australia... :)
Excellent as always Sir...:)

The geometry and the colours work very well in my opinion. Lighting is good, and plays very well with the tree trunk in the foreground.
I like the DOF and composition.
A really African feel to it...

The "dune" of wood in the foreground creats harmony for the composition and increases dinamism and depth. Impressive the colour contrast against the sky. Beautiful as usual, Joggie. Take care.

Nice warm colors, Joggie. I do like the thought you had of showing the three geometric lines of the dunes in this. And they are highlighted by the three different colors as well. Good foreground framing with the camelthorn roots, too.
Best wishes, Dave

Whoa, this is spectacular! Those different coloured dunes, both angular and curved, contrasting with the deep blue sky and the trees - amazing stuff.
