70-300 sigma apo dg
70-300 tamron
or .....

I would go with the sigma, for that money you will get a low end Canon, The tamron and Sigma are about the same in picture quality but the sigma looks nicer!

As Marcus suggested, if you are looking for an economical lens, then Sigma, otherwise Canon Lens is great.
