Q. Many mails

I'm receiving often a lot of (almost duplicate) mail from this site. Is this a bug or something else?

Just one of the many examples, today I receieved:

All the same, only the last number differs!
When I click on the links, only the link thats end on 72 has some contents!

Did you subscribe to forum updates?
If so you were getting these messages because of new forum messages being posted.
A lot of them were double posts of which all but one are removed as soon as a moderator sees them.
You're not going to see the content of those messages after they're removed, but by that time the original notification will have gotten to you.
