  Q. Al - LOOK HERE PLEASE! I have 2 profiles!

Hi Al,

I've been a member of Usefilm since it's early days. I wasn't very active due to travelling around extensively and not having internet whilst travelling. I did, however drop into the chat room on occasion to say hi to friends so I always remained somewhat active whenever possible.

I've based in Oregon and have stable internet now (if there is such a thing-haha)and have become more active but I've discovered I have 2 profiles. I have posted 9 photos over the last couple of weeks or so and found they have gone into a new profile with a new membership #

I still use the same login and password so I haven't created a new membership or rejoined.

I was wondering what happened to my old photos then I did a search on my name and found my old membership #34. I found some of the photos but some had gone which is to be expectred after such inactivity. but why did some stay and others go?

I have had nice comments added to my recent photos and I was wondering if I could put those new photo pages with their comments into the old profile.

I do like to idea of keeping my original member number here which was #34. Shows my membership here since Usefilm's early days. Somehow I acquired a second member number #62,000 something or other. WOW! there sure are a lot of members now.

Anyway.....is it possible to put all my new pages into my old profile so I can keep my old member number #34? I would rather keep the old number if possible. If need be I'll add the photos one day at a time but it means I'll lose my comments if I do it that way (I think). Can you move the pages comments and all?

Please don't delete the old one as I would rather keep that one active and delete the new one if that's the way it has to be.

Sorry this is so long winded. I know this isn't urgent but I did want to bring it to your attention and you can tend to it at your convenience.

Thank you and Cheers

Ann

Al I was wondering....Would it be possible to put my membership #34, which was my original number and still apparently active, onto the other membership number, which is also active, then I wouldn't have to move any of my new photos and comments over to the 2nd and latest membership number? Just a thought. I don't know if it can be done but if it can it might be an easy way to fix this double membership problem. I really would like to keep my original membership number if possible.

Thanks and Cheers

Ann

Did you hear anything yet, Ann?

Nothing yet Roger. I think he must be enjoying a holiday on some tropical island...and he didn't evens end a postcard. ;)

I'm not worrying about it. I'll just keep both memberships active until such a time as Al has time to deal with something this trivial. I'm sure he has much bigger things to worry about.

I'm still posting my photos into the new one cause that's where I always end up when I log in.

Spoke to Al on MSM, there's no way to consolidate profiles in the system at this time, so you'll have to just live with it or repost the work from one to the other.
