Q. advertisements

hi all... i hope i'm at the correct website. a bit confused actually. when i logged on and saw all the advertisements it took me about 10 minutes to figure out where to click. i thought that someone let the domain name lapse and one of those domain buyers grabbed it to rake in ad dollars. it took me forever to notice the top navigation bar at the top because the google ads are directly underneath it. just saying. was a little freaked out at first.
