Q. Printer head, will it get damaged if....

I was wondering if a photo printer head will clog or get damaged if the printer is not is use for a long period of time. I have a Canon i850 and I haven't made a print of it in about 3 or 4 months. A friend mentioned possible clogging. Any ideas?

Dont leave it turned on and it sould be fine. On my epson it is sometime turned off for weeks yet I have never had a head clog.

You can clean the pad that the heads sit on with windex, I did and it helps clear the epson clogs I get occasionally.

It is not too difficult but do it at your own risk.
