the hair touches behind the cat are distracting. The head distortion gives this piece a surreal or catoonish effect, which further is accented by the situation of the a cat in a tub... not a great prospect if you put the water in motion so to speak. I think the cats expression is distracted by perhaps a 2nd participant other then the camera guy...or a tri-pod. Herding cats is tough enough ... keeping a cat in a tub would be an interesting yet perhaps simple enough feat... of course if the cat was really stoned as the picture suggest albeit subtly... water flowing into the tub would be the lest of its possible notions. Do cats have thoughts?

I love this picture, the cat looks very concerned about being in a water area. There are only a couple of things that I wish were different to make this even better. The 2 bottles behind the cat distract me a bit but not as much as the decorative tile that looks a bit like it is growing out of his ear. Even still this is one of the most original cat portraits I have seen in some time.

Brilliant work!
My only problem is the shampoo bottles, distracting from a otherwise magnificent pet portrait.
Very goo job, anyway!
