Hi Ray. Thanks for your comment. I achieved this in photoshop. First I added a grey scale gradient map adjustment layer leaving the original shot untouched. Then added a curves adjustment layer where I adjusted the darks, lights and midtones. Then I added a solid colour adjustment layer with a rich brown colour (R90.G65.B30) and set the opacity to 30% and the blending mode to overlay. With some colour images I play around with the channel mixer adjustment layer (set to monchrome) then add a solid colour adjustment layer in the same way. I only just learned this technique and it has produced some lovely tones. Here is the original colour shot. Cheers! David
