John - This is grill art at its best. I really, really like the graphic composition, tonal range, feel, ok..... everything about this. If it where me I'd look for more classic grills, photograph them, print and mount a show and apply to the Ontario Arts Council for an exhibition grant. You have a future here!!
Cheers - Bill

John, this is so well seen! At first I thought of a funhouse at a carnival, with the crazy mirrors, coupled with a rollercoaster track. It has a dark, mysteriousness to it. After reading your comment I can totally see the grill/bumper, but still, I find it full of mystique. Great lines and nice tones!

Surpising study based on a very simple graphic structure, but well elaborated. The rigidity of the grill is animated by the diagonal set-up and contrasted by the reflection on a curved surface. The soft focus effect adds a pleasing effect.

Cool! I don't think I've ever seen one in this perspective. Great soft lighting coming off of the chrome. Wonderful detail.
