Hi Ferran, a stunning shot. Wonderful use of light, shade and tones. The ladder creates an interesting diagonal that leads me gently out of the photograph. great work.
i use a nikon FM10, which, i guess, used to be the Cosina before Nikon bought it over. I have been eyeing the EOS 20D for a while now. But with this photograph that you have taken with the Powershot, you have proved that it's the photographer and not the camera that makes the difference.

I've never been to Damascus but wow what a cool image! When I was a boy in Spain we would go to the old towns and we would see building like this. Nice work Ferran!

Great shot Ferran. The ladder adds a nice diagonal line to the image. The whole mood is like a photograph from the thirties or fourties. Syria is one of my travelling goals for the next few years.
