Are these the same warriors made famous by several movies? I half expect them to come to life at night to guard the palace. Very interesting to have found them and photographed them. Great capture and thanks for sharing this image.

What an amazing place, David. Awesome to think that they have survived for so long. I'm not a history buff but the work taken to build these warriors and then for the archeologists to exume them in such perfect condition really blows my mind. great photo. Cheers, Ann.
