Such a gorgeous reflection! So crisp and still. Good color too! Looks almost like an imaginary scene-something from a storybook.

The trees were nice enough to cooperate, leaving that red patch right above the building. It's so interesting to compare the different seasons. I hope you go back to this place often.

The lighting created interesting reflections and shadows. Gives it a very calm feeling. I like the closer vier of the water wheel in B&W you posted for detail but I like seeing the whole mill with the backgroud colors. I just bet there are some fish in that pond also. Del.

I think of the 3 this one has the best light Rebecca! It's a closer view and shows the details of the mill very well!I can even see the movement of the wheel! Very good reflection as well! Nice photo! My best..................John

As you know Rebecca, I have fav sites I visit often, looking for the perfect shot. I think this is your best image of the mill so far. I like the sharpness, which seems to mirror the crispness in the fall air. I can almost feel myself zipping up my jacket just a little tighter to ward off the chill. The composition is pleasing, and the colours natural, but I am sure you are already thinking of ways to improve on what you have. "Go for it, Rebecca!" One of these days you will get the perfect shot, you envision. Congrats my friend.

quite bucolic and scenic. the America that many of our children have never known and many of our elders have forgotten in our search for more. what more could we ask for than this tranquil respite. nicely done with the lighting, framing and use of 1/3s.
